 Ava Farrelly

First Feelings of the class... The first time I walked into class, I was pleasantly greeted by the professor. I chose an open seat and got right into groove, catching up and following along with the rest of the class, as I had missed the entire first week of classes due to being out of town for my sister's wedding. Who am I...and Where am I From? I am a student-employee through the Tampa Athletic department as an Athletic-Communications student photographer. I have the blessed opportunity to photograph sporting events, games, and practices for all of the teams here at UT.  I was born in Atlanta and lived there until I was 6. Before I started 1st grade, my parents and 4 siblings and I moved to Savannah, Georgia. About 2 and 1/2 years ago, my family and I then moved to Tampa!

Fun Facts, Accomplishments, and Fails... Some fun facts about me is that I love sports (specifically hockey and baseball), photography, reading, art (scrapbooking and painting), going surfing at the beach, and I am fluent in American Sign Language. I take great pride in my grades and love to learn new things. Some of my accomplishments in the past have been maintaining high honor roll all through high school, and maintaining good academic standing all through college.  Expectations of the Class...  I have never taken a class quite like this one, as I am fairly new to picking up this minor of Digital Media. So far, I have only been able to attend two class meetings (I was gone for y sister's wedding for a week), and I love it. I am hoping to make some friends who share the same creative mindset that I do, and to make some deep connections in future art pieces and techniques we may study.
