Artist Statement:

For this project, took a picture of myself over spring break in front of the San Diego Jetties, in California. I have never visited the west cost so I thought that this would be a unique picture to use because I was genuinely excited to see something (and a somewhere) new. My initial Idea was to use wild and bright colors to make the original picture look vastly different from the final color version. The largest issue I ran into with this project was finding the same way to do things on a Laptop as originally done on Windows. I asked a few friends and others for assistance and couldn't figure out how to apply the colors onto the mask. I did ask Professor and she was able to show me an extremely simple way to do this. Of the three images I think that the Analogues is my favorite, as the colors were applied better and the colors match each other.
